How does a Sign Love Yard Card Work?

It's easy! Your Sign Love Yard Card is approximately a 24 hour rental.

Fill out an order request form on our website. Our team will send you a confirmation of your request as well as an invoice. ​

Once you pay your invoice, your reservation is secured.

We cannot hold your reservation until you have paid your invoice.

We do all the work. We deliver, install, and pick it up the next day. You get to sit back and enjoy!

What does a yard card cost?
-
We offer very competitive pricing-especially as our signs are larger, higher quality and contain more graphics than our competitors. We also include solar lighting with every sign.

Pricing varies based on location, greeting, time of day for installation (night installs are extra), extra days, extra names or custom phrases etc.

Fill out an order request form on our website. Our team will send you a confirmation of your request as well as an invoice. The invoice contains a detailed breakdown of pricing. You are not committed until you pay your invoice-you can always make changes before you pay.

Standard pricing includes one phrase (ex. Happy Birthday), one name, and coordinating graphics, lighting, delivery, set up and pick up.

What if I want my Sign Love Yard Card for longer than 24 hours?​

Additional days are $75 per (approximately) 24 hours.

Are you open all year?
-
Yes! We do our best to work all year. However, we cannot deliver in severe weather. Please see below for more information.

What do I need to do to prepare for my Sign Love Yard Card?​
-
We send out ​an email 1-3 days before your sign is delivered with instructions.
-
Mowing your lawn BEFORE set up makes the sign look its best. Do not mow or trim near sign once installed as it can damage the sign. If you have a lawn care or landscaping service, please advise them not to service the area while the signs are installed.

Watering ​your lawn (season dependent, based on local restrictions) for two days prior to our arrival for at least 30 minutes, makes set up much easier for our team.

Clear leaves in the fall.

Keep pets inside so we can install safely.

Lights out front help us see to install better.

Can I place a Sign Love Yard Card order for someone who I don't live with?
-
Of course! We love helping you spread the love. Someone in the home must be given our pre install instructions and informed of when our team will arrive. The safety of our team is a priority.

We leave a card on the door to let the recipient know who sent them a Sign Love Yard Card.

​Do you do Rush Orders?​​

We will do our best to accommodate rush orders. Rush orders are any order placed within 48 hours of delivery. Rush orders will be charged an additional fee. If you need a rush order, please go to the contact page and call us.

I have an odd shaped or small yard, can I order a Sign Love Yard Card?
-
We will do our best to make your Sign Love Yard Card perfect for your celebration and yard. If you have an unusual or small yard, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. Pictures really help. You can upload pictures in your request form.

Can I place an order for a custom greeting?
-
Yes, we are happy to do custom phrases for you (based on availability).​ Please let us know what you are looking for on the order form and we will work with you to make it happen. ​We can also do custom art work/graphics if we have enough notice. This is an additional fee.

Can I place an order outside of your delivery area?
-
We will do our best to accommodate out of area orders based on availability and scheduling. ​Out of area orders are charged an additional fee.

Graphics​
-
All signs come with balloons and stars (and hearts) included/standard. Additionally, we have over 300 unique graphics options to personalize each sign.​

Due to time constraints and yard size (our signs average 25 feet+), we limit the amount of graphics to 16 per order (12 per grad sign as grad signs also come with other grad graphics included standard).

Please pick your top 16 graphics. Unfortunately, not every graphic is guaranteed as we often have more than one sign out at a time. If you add in a few additional, we will do our best to accommodate.

If you pick more than 10 additional graphics, we will add on a $15 fee for each additional 10 graphics whether we end up using all ten or not (we try but again won't know until we pull the sign and we do not have doubles of most graphics).

Do you do mock ups?

Sorry, we can't do a mock up of your sign. It takes a lot of work to set up a sign. Check out our gallery for examples of our work. If you love what you see, place your order. Every picture on our site is a sign we have done.

What is your cancellation policy?
-
Cancellations made by the customer up to 48 hours before the install will receive either 50% refund or you will receive a credit for the full amount to be used at a later date for up to one year.
-
No refund will be given within 48 hours of installation.​
-
In the event of severe weather or other major event prohibiting us from installing your sign, we will attempt to reschedule or you will receive a full refund.

For the safety of our team, we cannot install during severe weather:

Lightning or thunderstorms
-
Tornado warnings
-
Freezing rain or ice-covered lawns
-
Heavy snow
-
Winds predicted to be over 25mph during the rental period

Fires/Heavy Smoke

Other weather/community conditions

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance due to the customers' negligence or if conditions of our customer agreement have not been met, a refund will NOT be issued if the installers are unable to complete install safely.​

If you have given us an incorrect date, time, address or greeting (spelling) we will not issue a refund. Please double check the information is correct.

You will be charged an additional fee if we need to change or move a sign due to your negligence.​​​​

What if I need to change the date of my Sign Love Yard Card after I have booked my sign?
-
We will do our best to accommodate the change based on our availability.​

What if I don't like the placement of my Sign Love Yard Card sign when it is delivered?​
-
Our installers are trained to find the best place in your yard for maximum love. We take great care in choosing your sign based on your requests and our inventory availability. We want you to love your sign.​

Please let us know immediately if there is a problem.

Customers are prohibited from moving or rearranging the sign.
-

Yard size, tree roots, rocks, landscaping and other conditions may dictate sign location.​
-
If you have special requests for placement or sign styles, please let us know ahead of time. We are not able to change it after it is installed without charging an additional fee. Pictures are helpful and can be uploaded in our order request form.

What else do I need to know about my Sign Love Yard Card?
-
Please do NOT move, remove or rearrange signs. Customers are PROHIBITED from moving, removing or rearranging signs!
-
Our signs are not weight bearing. To avoid injury, do not allow children or adults to sit on, lean or play around the signs.

Signs and stakes have sharp edges.​
-

Keep dogs and other animals that may chew on, eat or relieve themselves on the signs, away from the signs while they are on your property.
-
Do not tie balloons, tie or tape other objects to the signs or place other objects near the signs. These items can damage the signs.
-
Please do not water your lawn near the sign once the sign is installed. Sprinklers can damage the ink.
-
Please do not mow or trim near the signs. Rain will not harm signs but direct hits from sprinklers can damage signs.

If a sign needs to be moved for any reason, please contact us immediately.

You will be charged $25 per piece ($75 for larger connected words) for damaged, stolen or missing signs.

How do I pay for my Order?
-
Once we receive your request, you will receive a confirmation of your request. You will also receive a Square invoice and you will be prompted to pay your invoice using your credit card (most major credit and debit cards accepted).

We are only able to accept payment through our invoicing system. We do not accept other forms of payment.

Payment must be paid in full. YOUR RESERVATION IS ONLY SECURED ONCE YOU HAVE PAID.

We are unable to hold unpaid reservations.​ Unpaid reservations will not be set up/installed.

Signs are first come, first serve. If you wait to pay, we may not have your sign available any longer.​

Can I take pictures with my Sign Love Yard Card?​

Are you a legitimate business?
-
Yes, we are attorneys-we don't mess around. We are LLC's registered in both Ohio as Sign Love Ohio, LCC and in California ​as Sign Love Beaches, LLC. We carry all the necessary insurance as well. We are not a franchisee or licensee. We are a small, women-owned independent business.
